  1. Your race

  4. Your eating habits — no one cares that you’re vegan
  5. Your political positions
  6. Your marital status
  7. Your religion
  8. Your income level — being poor doesn’t make you enlightened
  9. The fact that you shook hands with a famous person once
  10. The fact that you’re bad at math
  11. The fact you’re a writer — actual writers don’t talk about writing; they just do it
  12. Your crappy parents
  13. Your crappy ex
  14. That one unpopular TV show you thought was good
  15. Your hatred of capitalism
  16. The fact that you’re a grown-ass adult and still watch Spongebob occasionally
  17. The fact you use Reddit
  18. How you’re “trying to workout” — we all know you aren’t
  19. Your addiction to Starbucks
  20. Your insomnia
  21. Your hometown
  22. How you think you know the “real world” because you’ve seen a picture of a starving child in Africa
  23. The fact that you smoke weed
  24. Your age
  25. Your children
  26. The one time you got catcalled
  27. The fact that you read The New York Times
  28. Your inability to get laid
  29. Your alma mater
  30. Your pet conspiracy theory
  31. Your cynicism — we all agree that life sucks, get on with it

Now, stop defining yourself by these things, and get yourself an actual personality.
